Open Microsoft Movie Maker

In the left hand task bar, select ‘Import Pictures’ See red arrow.

A text box will appear. Follow the prompts, locate the picture pages stored in ‘My Pictures’ and bring each separate page into Windows Movie Maker

Use the right mouse button to bring up a menu and use the left to select. When all the pages are imported, drop and drag them onto the blue ‘Storyboard’.

The small microphone symbol, shown above (Fig 42) opens a voice recording device. Practise recording a narration. Read each page clearly and with expression.
If there is insufficient time to read the story line due to pages moving too quickly, drop the same slide two or three times, consecutively, onto the time-line. This gives a longer time-frame for each page and allows time for reading. See diagram below.

Add effects to each slide by clicking on ‘View video effects’. Add effects between the slide transitions by clicking on ‘View video transitions’.
When the movie is ready it must be stored and saved as a WMV file in order to be acceptable to Wiki’s, Moodles and other websites. It should not be too large (in terms of Kilobytes) and it must be in a format that is acceptable to websites.
